OFT cracking down on Web electronics stores

The Office of Fair Trading is investigating four British electronics retail Web sites in relation to possible misleading advertising and unfair practices. The move is part of a wider European Commission effort to protect buyers. On Wednesday, the Commission said that, out of 369 sites that have been checked, 55 per cent had irregularities.
