Having been teased by its tactile wonder at US trade shows for yonks, we were delighted that Microsoft Surface has finally arrived in the UK. We thought we'd pop along to the official launch event -- cameras in hand -- to give it a thorough hands-on.

Various companies were in attendance, all eager to show how the table of the future would benefit the average Joe. In this clip, we go hands-on with offerings from Barclays, Tesco, Carphone Warehouse and Emirates. But is it as revolutionary as they're all claiming? Watch and decide for yourself.
