Hope you're ready to skip around the globe with us, Planet CNET fans, because this week we start off in Australia, jump over to Singapore and end up in San Francisco, USA.
Our mates Down Under show us a new way to date -- Meet Me dating is the first service to introduce people via 3G videocall. The calls last just two minutes, so if you aren't clicking you won't be suffering for too long.
Planet CNET then heads to Singapore, where John Chan goes grocery shopping with a very special kind of smart cart. This tech-savvy shopping trolley is still a prototype, but in the future you could be uploading your shopping list and viewing it on an LCD alongside a map of the store, making finding your items much easier.
Finally, we head to San Francisco to get a first-hand experience of the first Virgin America Wi-Fi flights. For a price, you can check your email, stream video and even shop online while flying.
That about wraps up our world travels for this week -- we'll catch up again soon!
