Kara Tsuboi (for it is she) gets back in the driving seat of our global showcase this week. First up, Australia's Ella Morton presents from the opening of the Apple store in Sydney, which, now that it's opened, takes the title of 'biggest Apple store in the world' away from the one in London.

Make sure you take a look at the bit where she meets some punters queuing -- it's somehow reassuring to see that Australian Apple enthusiasts are just as 'special' as the ones in the rest of the world. Next, we're off to Japan for a toy plant that reacts to speech, and finally Rory Reid takes a look at the talking Fiat 500 -- check back on the site soon as we'll have more on this in a new episode of Car Tech.
