The original trademark for "iPod" was not made by Apple, it was a New Jersey based company that produced internet kiosks which DID see the light of day back in 2000 but gone by 2001. Apple came to an agreement with the trademark holder and it was transferred to them.

Funny how the 3rd gen iPod looked like a crappy Chinese copy of the previous gen!

I LOVED the 3rd Gen iPod. It was by far my favourite. Great battery life and I loved how the buttons all glowed red when you touched the. I still have it knocking about somewhere.

I still use the ipod mini. After upgrading the hard drive and battery, it works better now then it did on day 1.

The 2007 3rd gen nano will always be my favourite for the "square" shape that fitted my pocket like a beauty,
I currently have the last incarnation, but find it less pocket friendly. Video? Not bothered.

Hear is the original portable media player. I would've thought that Rio would have sued Apple for 'slavishly copying the design' of their player!

I noticed in the papers that Steve Jobs & Apple tried to purchase DropBox. When the owner declined their offer Steve Jobs told him that it was a big mistake as they would take all their market by copying their product. What a nice man! Is this the same Steve Jobs who threatened to kill Android as an operating system due to the alleged duplicity of the Google boss sitting on the Apple board? Er... his biography ought to be renamed two faced Steve.

'colelction' is now 'collection' - thanks and well done for spotting it anonymous.

We drop these little typos in now and then to keep you on your toes!
