Photos: Cracking open the fourth-gen iPod nano

The big Toshiba chip is the 8GB of storage the iPod nano supplies.

The nano can tell its orientation and flip the image on the LCD screen accordingly. This means there are accelerometer chips onboard (arrows).

Managed to remove and reconnect the screen but could not remove without breaking the touch pad ribbon or hold switch ribbon cable
So I wonder how they make them ???
