Photos: Cracking open the fourth-gen iPod nano

After a half day of wrangling, we had to make the fatal decision. To get access to the chips and finish this Cracking Open, we were going to have to break the nano. With steady pulling pressure the problematic ribbon cable broke and gave us access to all of the internal parts.

Our apologies to the electronic gadget gods.

You can see that the battery is glued to the case.

Managed to remove and reconnect the screen but could not remove without breaking the touch pad ribbon or hold switch ribbon cable
So I wonder how they make them ???
