Photos: Cracking open the fourth-gen iPod nano

Now we've come to the ultimate Cracking Open problem. Ideally, we should be able to slide the entire insides out one end of the case or the other, but that's not happening.

At this point the nano is still working. I could put it back to the way it was and no one would know the difference. But this is a Cracking Open, so we must go on.

Unfortunately, this particular iPod nano will never be seen alive again. RIP, little fella.

Managed to remove and reconnect the screen but could not remove without breaking the touch pad ribbon or hold switch ribbon cable
So I wonder how they make them ???
