Bat for Lashes joins iTunes Festival line-up

Fans of Bat for Lashes have the chance to see Miss Khan live, absolutely free this summer. Every year Apple puts on the iTunes Festival in London, where thousands of music fans get a free gig, and Apple gets to sell the exclusive recorded gig on iTunes. It's what's called a win-win situation.

A pile of other bands were announced a little while ago, including Oasis, The Saturdays and Snow Patrol. And they're free, too. You've just got to win yourself some tickets from the iTunes Festival Web site, which points you to Facebook, where you have to add the iTunes Festival app. Then head over to the Camden Roadhouse for one of the 31 nights of free music in July.

Last year we went along to check out Pendulum and Death Cab For Cutie. It's a proper gig and everything. Unfortunately, only a selection of each group's set is made available for download shortly afterwards. But hey, you saw it live for free, so shut up your whining.

Get over to iTunesLive.co.uk to see who else is playing, and how to win tickets.
