Avast, ye scurvy dogs! International Talk Like a Pirate Day it be, an' the good ship Crave is here to relieve ye of yer worldy possessions. But fair exchange be no robbery, so come closer an' we'll tell ye a tale in return, a tale of the Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD. It's a 10-megapixel camera with a 15x optical zoom, so ye can throw out yer telescope and use this little scallywag in its stead when a swaggy ye espy.
Other features include face detection an' image stabilisation, in case ye've been on the grog an' need the camera to take care o'your shaky hands. ISO speeds go up to 1600 for shooting by the light o'the moon, or even higher at 5-megapixel resolution, but ye will have some noise issues if ye do venture that high. If yer in the dark, flash modes include slow sync and red-eye reduction, and if ye're too lily-livered t'make up your mind then natural and flash mode takes two pictures, one wi'the flash and one wi'out.
An' speakin' of movies, the S2000HD earns its name with 1,280x720-pixel high definition video. Ye can also shoot VGA clips for the YouTube. There is electronic image stabilisation to cancel out the rollin' and swayin' of the ocean wave, but no stereo sound unfortunately. There's an HD connection, but it's component, not HDMI, and you do have to buy the cable separately -- a scurvy trick, aye!
The Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD is available in shops ashore for a mere £190 in doubloons. Now ye've joined the swashbucklin' life o'a gentleman o'fortune, come aboard and set sail with us through the links for more pictures, as we spin ye a yarn the likes of which ye've never heard before or will again.
