Nikon has taken the wraps off a selection of compact Coolpix cameras -- including the S6800 and S5300 with handy Wi-Fi for sharing your shots -- and given us a glimpse at the UK price tags too.
Joining the D3300 entry-level dSLR, two Wi-Fi compact cameras lead the way: the Coolpix S6800 and Coolpix S5300, both 16-megapixel snappers with 12x and 8x optical zoom respectively. The S6800, pictured above, costs £200 and hits shops on 13 February, while the S5300 is thirty quid cheaper and is on sale on 6 February.
Next up, the 20-megapixel Coolpix S3600 sports an 8x optical zoom. It comes decked out in blue, red, black, silver, pink or pink with squiggles on. It's in shops on 6 February for just £130.
Meanwhile the 20-megapixel Coolpix S6700 boasts a 10x optical zoom and 3-inch screen in a black or red body. It's out the following week, 13 February, for £150.
They join the 20-megapixel Coolpix S2800, less than 20mm thick and only on sale at Argos, currently priced at £100.
Nikon also wants to tempt you with a selection of wallet-friendly snappers, powered by AA batteries. The £70 L29 is already on sale, while the £90 L30 and £180 L330 go on sale on 30 January.
If you need a long zoom, the Coolpix L830 will offer a versatile 34x optical zoom, but price and release dates are yet to be confirmed.
