Canon cashback and bargains galore
With the dust settled on Photokina, there's been a whole raft of dSLRs and compact cameras unveiled and unleashed. If you're thinking of investing in a camera now's as good a time as any to make a purchase. If you're here on Crave you're obviously pretty smart -- and looking good today, might we add -- and you want a bargain. Look no further, friend. From Canon cashback to Pentax purchases, bargains, discounts, deals and steals: we got 'em.
If you're thinking of investing in a dSLR, you could do worse than starting with our freshly updated best dSLR for beginners round-up. If you've already made up your mind, read on. Let's start with Canon, which has just added a cashback offer to the EOS 1000D 18-55mm IS kit, which will net you back £30, bringing the total cost to around £350.
Canon has also extended the £50 cashback offer on the EOS 450D and £60 offer on the EOS 40D. Both of these apply to the camera bodies or kits, bringing the cost of a 40D with 17-85mm IS USM Lens to below £800, and the 450D with 18-55mm IS Lens to around £430. Jessops is also offering a free Centon camera bag with the 450D.
Now we're not saying Christmas is coming, because we hate it when Advent calendars start showing up in supermarkets with a hundred shopping days to go. But these offers all continue through to 12 January 2009, so if there's someone in your life worth the price of a dSLR, you might be in luck. To sniff out some more offers, click through the links. Best of luck, bargain-hunters! -Rich Trenholm
