James Cameron may claim to have discovered the mysteries of the deep, but reports that a new Titanic has been sighted have us wondering if something fishy's going on. Leo and Kate had the world's biggest film budget behind them when they set sail, but that's pocket change compared to the Crave expense account. And so we armed ourselves with the 6-megapixel Vivitar ViviCam 6200W underwater camera and set sail into uncharted waters to uncover the real secret of this new Titanic.

What a load of rubbish this camera is!!! ..
apart from its rugged case the functionality is poor and the machine proved it to be totaly unreliable.
I purchased this camera through Amazon early in March with the sole purpose of taking pictures underwater on holiday on the red sea Egypt.
The Camera a arrived very quickly through Amazon (great service) but was deemed faulty almost as soon as it was out of the box!!
The Camera had power problems and had to be returned To Amazon. A replacement arrived and would not recognise an external SD card! I called Vivitar for support in Leicester and they said that they did not have the same camera to support me with!!!
I think this Camera is over priced for what it offers and the only thing really going for it is that fact that the manufacturers clain it will withstand underwater photography ( I wonder!!).
In the end I returned the Camera back to Amazon and now await a full refund.
I recomend that you pay a little more and get a Camera that is made by a proper Camera manufacturer and not a Micky Mouse mock up of something else.
Conclusion: I wouldnt buy another Vivitar product ever!! total rubbish and the support the manufacture offers is a joke andso is the company!
