MSI is best known for its range of netbooks and components, but the bafflingly named Wind Top AE2220 Hi-Fi all-in-one PC is a full-on computing machine, with a focus on... everything.
Starting with the audio, the 'Hi-Fi' moniker owes to the full-range 5W hi-fi speakers mounted just under the screen. While you'll struggle to hoist this beast on to your shoulder for some ghetto-blasting action, it might just cater to your desk's acoustic needs, though we suspect it's unlikely to satisfy audiophiles.
The built-in display is a 21.5-inch Full HD 16:9 beast, and is multi-touch enabled. Whether there's much call for touch capabilities on an all-in-one PC is up for debate -- and we'd imagine most people will choose to stick with a mouse.
The AE2220 also turns its hand to gaming -- Nvidia Ion graphics and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor mean that it should be able to handle the odd bit of gaming, and Blu-ray movies won't give the hardware much trouble.
The risk here is that the AE2220 turns out to be a jack of all trades but master of none. At £800 it sounds like a reasonable price for the hardware on offer, but who exactly this all-in-one is aimed at is a bit of a mystery. Stay tuned.
