Exclusive: Alienware Star Wars PCs
Someone handed a Star Wars fan an airbrush and four Alienware PCs, sat them in a room with John William's famous soundtrack blaring at a hundred watts and screamed, "Paint little Star Wars fan, paint!"
These lavishly airbrushed Star Wars Systems are available from Alienware just in time for the release of Episode III. They come in either Dark Side or Light Side Case Designs, and have exclusive Star Wars Content pre-installed.
Both the dark and light sides of the force are apparently running AMD Athlon™ 64 FX-55 Processors this season. They also both use Microsoft Windows. Shouldn't the Light Side edition run Mac OS? Or Linux at the very least?
The Light Side edition is preinstalled with Jedi wallpaper and desktop skin, while the Dark Side version is decked out in an exclusive Imperial wallpaper and desktop skin.
Alienware now lay claim to the first officially licensed Star Wars PCs in the galaxy.
“Star Wars indisputably ranks as one of the most popular movie franchises of all time, yet had never been featured on a PC, so Alienware worked with Star Wars to fill that void,” said Robert Lusk, vice president of sales and marketing for Alienware.
He is clearly the marketing droid we were looking for. -CS-
