Now that Tesla's electric roadster is in production, the American company is showing off prototypes of its upcoming Model S electric sedan. The sleek-looking car, which launches in late 2011, should come in at around $50,000 (£35,000), making it half the price of the sports car and able to hold three times as many occupants.
Tesla unveiled its sedan at a rocket factory in Southern California. The four-door will seat seven and start at a base price of $57,400 ($49,900 after a $7,500 federal tax credit). There's no word on availability outside of the US as yet.
