Tired of the rubbish audio system in your car? Constantly crashing into other vehicles as you attempt to read emails off your BlackBerry? Yeah, us too -- until we visited the folks at Made For My Car and peeped their funky upgrade options.
First on the list was WiDrive -- a system which turns your car into a discoverable device on your wireless network. You simply hop on to your PC, fire up the bundled software, find your car in the list of devices, and send whichever tracks you require to a USB storage device connected to your car stereo. Cool, no?
We also took time to look at iLane, which reads aloud your email and text messages as they arrive in your smart phone's inbox. iLane's voice-recognition technology lets you vocalise your commands, which reduces the need to fiddle around with buttons or take your eyes off the road -- also pretty cool.
