Geneva Car Show 2009

One of the more impressive electric concept cars on display at the Geneva International Motor Show last week was the Light Car -- Open Source, designed by EDAG.

This car's outstanding feature is the OLED display in the tailgate, which allows you to display potentially life-saving graphics to the driver in the car behind you. When approaching a pedestrian crossing, for example, a warning will be flashed to the following driver that they need to reduce their speed. The rest of the car is also littered with OLEDs, and some of them are customisable, so no two Light Cars need look alike.
