Liberty Electric Cars -- Electric Range Rover
Big-arse 4x4s like the Range Rover are never going to be the height of eco respect in my book, but at least people are trying to green them. Liberty Electric Cars are here at the show telling everyone about their electric conversion of the Range Rover, capable of a 150-mile range and out-accelerating the standard Range Rover. Liberty buys up second-hand Range Rovers and modifies them into the electric version. They've had 11 orders this year so far, with each car going for 95k -- 15k more than the normal version. Only one bummer -- there's no demo car here to look at.
