Saab Bio Hybrid
This gorgeous concept car nearly didn't make it to the Eden Project today thanks to French dock-worker strikes. Fortunately, it got to the show this morning at 6am and is now stealing everyone's attention. The car combines the bioethanol element of the existing Saab BioPower but adds a petrol electric engine for practicality. As far as we know, it's the only biofuel petrol hybrid in the world. It's also full of cute sci-fi touches. Our favourite is the lack of wing mirrors.

Instead, it has two cameras that run a live feed through to two screens placed just over the driving wheel. These were actually wired up and working when we sat in the car. It also has a touch-sensitive swipe to unlock the door -- no keys here.
