Usually we lust after camcorders that flaunt their megapixels like burlesque house Madames. But throw kids into the equation and do you really want that kind of expensive equipment lying around?
What happens when little Timmy gets his hands on your prized possession? Kids' ability to disassemble things would put Johnny 5 to shame. The JVC GR-D240 arrived at Crave this morning and it has begun to convince us it could survive a mauling by any five year old.
We're not advocating that you drop it into a ferocious toddler's cot -- not even a bowling ball could survive that -- but in the event that sticky fingers wrap themselves around the JVC and a curious mouth begins to chew, we'd place bets on this camcorder winning. Expect a full review as soon as we can find a child for testing purposes. -CS
