This is something we've been waiting for: a camcorder for the skinned-shin masses. If you skate, snowboard, mountain bike or just like to get in a good bar brawl now and again, strap the Samsung's little helmet-cam to your head and it'll capture the brouhaha from your own very personal perspective.
We haven't laid our hands on one yet, but any day now one will drop by Crave -- we suspect Samsung probably won't even bother to box up the hardy little creature. Just chuck it in the post with a sticker and a bar of Kendall Mint Cake and let it fend for its naked self. That's what a hardcore camcorder is all about.
We've taken MiniDVs mountain biking before as part of Crave's hands-on approach to testing methods, but we can't wait to see how this one fares strapped to the think box of an extreme BMXer. Once our Samsung arrives, we'll let you know what the sucker can really take. -CS
