CES 2009

The Powermat is a wireless charging pad that uses magnetic-induction technology to charge any portable device attached -- whether it's a BlackBerry, iPhone or laptop, for example.

A magnetic receiver is used to attach the target device to the Powermat.

Not available in the US until the autumn, the Powermat will cost $99 (£65), while the receivers will cost $30 (£20) each. UK pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed.
